About the Doctor's

Dr. Brower received a scholarship to attend the University of South Dakota for his undergraduate education after graduating from Washington High School in Sioux Falls South Dakota.  He completed his studies in 3 years while finishing with Cum Laude honors for his studies, and then received a scholarship to attend the Number 1 ranked dental school in the nation which was the University of Minnesota.  During his studies there he accepted a Health Professional Scholarship from the United States Army where he received advanced training at Tripler Army Medical Center on Oahu over a period of 2 years.  He specifically worked side by side with a gifted team of oral surgeons and an orthodontist that ran the US Army residency training program.  After 4 years he graduated from the University of Minnesota with Honors, and in 1997 accepted an officers commision in the Army where he requested his initial duty station to be in Germany.  He was granted his wish and was again allowed to train with a group or oral surgeons, orthodontist, and a board certified prosthodontist.  He continued his advanced training for 2 years in Germany and then moved back to the US where he worked in a clinic in Lousiana with 26 other dentists.  All dental specialities were represented and he specifically began training new Army officers in the advanced techniques that he had been trained in.  Upon completion of his military tour and honorable discharge Dr. Brower moved back to the midwest with his wife Peggy and their family to pursue raising a larger family and settle down into private practice.  Dr. Brower's advanced training allows him to perform many procedures that other general dentists have not received the training to perform in office which gives patients great comfort when considering being "referred out" when something needs to be done.  By allowing one practitioner to see all aspects of the same case and not having each piece looked at by someone different over a wide range of times amazing results can be achieved.  In no other way can multiple specialty procedures be combined into one appointment as you can see from the photos of our wonderful patients on the site.

Dr. Brower enjoys lecturing and publishing articles for his peers. He currently travels across the United States lecturing to doctors on dental implants.  He is a recognized expert in the field. Here you can see him teaching a course in implants.

 

 

 

 

 

 

He is licensed in South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, California, and maintains active sedation permits in Iowa and South Dakota.  All of his licenses and permits have always been and continue to be in good standing.  He also maintains active membership in the South Dakota Dental Association, American Dental Association, International Association of Orthodontics, and the American Orthodontic's Society.  Dr. Brower has been married to his wife Peggy of Vermillion South Dakota for 17 years and they have 4 children.

Dr. Beecroft was born in Iowa, but raised on the north shore of Lake Madison, SD. He graduated cum laude with a BA in Chemistry from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. Then, he moved to Yokohama, Japan, working as a private English language teacher in Tokyo. While there, he instructed Japanese pediatric medical students, doctors, and dentists so that they could improve their conversational skills. Hopefully, he won’t forget all of his acquired Japanese language ability!  He earned his DDS degree from the University of Minnesota, where dental school faculty awarded him “Outstanding Dental Student Achievement” from the American Academy of Periodontology. In addition, he was chosen to participate in an honors elective course alongside periodontology residents. Now, in private practice as a general dentist, Dr. Beecroft enjoys helping patients understand gum disease and always offers the best treatment options possible. He is passionate about dentistry as evidenced by continuing education in dental implants, braces, and cosmetic dental procedures. He is a member of the American Dental Association, South Dakota Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Beecroft is truly looking forward to the privilege of meeting and serving you. 

 

 

 

Currently, Dr. Beecroft and his wife, Inja, with their two boys, live in Sioux Falls, SD. They enjoy boating, flying, Asian cuisine, and tuba music.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Prosser is a life long resident of Vermillion South Dakota.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1982 and began private practice dentistry immediately in Vermillion after taking over Dr. Ford's previous office.  Dr. Prosser maintains the same schedule of 3 1/2 days that he has worked for many years since Dr. Brower joined the practice as an owner in 2006.  Dr. Prosser and Sheila celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Nov. 24, 2009.  They have 2 grown children.  Collin is a graduate assistant football coach with the USD football team, and their daughter Paige  is a pastry chef at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix.  In his spare time Dr. Prosser like to golf, fish, and follow USD athletics.  He currently has 2 hole in ones and is always looking for his third.
